Today, the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation marks it’s fourth annual ‘JE3 Day’ to remember Justin and raise further awareness around CPR and Defibrillators.

The annual campaign spotlights rates of cardiac arrest—30,000 per year in the UK—and the need for increased public access to life-saving defibrillators and CPR skills.

Football clubs with a special connection to Justin Edinburgh are showing their support for JE3 Foundation through a day of action, while remembering the former player and manager who passed away from cardiac arrest in 2019.

Supporters from up and down the country, and across leagues can get in on the action with three simple ways to support JE3 Day:

1. Sign the petition for Justin’s Law. We are currently at just over 55,000 signatures with our target of 100,00 signatures to legally mandate access to Automated External Defibrillators in all health and sports facilities in the UK. 2. Learn CPR The JE3 Foundation recently launched a new educational film to encourage people to get hands on and learn CPR. As a former pupil of the school, Charlie was in attendance to thank the school and it’s pupils for it’s recent fundraising, which has been generated throughout their ‘House Charity Week’, and to raise further awareness around the importance of CPR and the use of defibrillators.

We have all been inspired by Her Majesty’s deeply committed service to our country since she acceded to the throne 70 years ago.

Her Majesty’s reign has been personified by her tireless dedication to public life, including charity.

The Foundation should like to extend its condolences to all members of the Royal Family at this sad time.

JE3 Foundation are fighting for legislative change

Current UK legislation does not require health and sport facilities to be equipped with life-saving defibrillators. The JE3 Foundation is fighting to change this.

CEO Charlie Edinburgh has given an update regarding our Campaign.

“It’s still hard to comprehend it’s been over three years since we lost my dad. Everyone at the foundation is extremely proud of the progress we have made during some challenging and unprecedented times for everyone.

We continue to make a difference with the rollout of life-saving defibrillators and our CPR and defibrillator workshops, none of which would be possible without the overwhelming support we continue to receive.

Our long-term objective of changing the law in Justin’s name has been well received and a lot of hard work is been pushed into this. I have personally met and spoken with a number of MP’s who are on board with our push for Justin’s Law and nothing fills me with more pride than seeing over 53,000 people signing our change.org petition. There is still a lot of work to do, but every signature we receive is another step in the right direction to make sure that all UK health and sports facilities are equipped with defibrillators so that we can continue to change outcomes in the face of cardiac arrest.
