ECHO SIXTY ONE GOLF DAY RAISES £7,085 FOR JE3

By Events, Fundraising, News

THE UK-BASED PREMIER SPORTING EVENTS COMPANY HAS DONATED £7,085 TO THE JUSTIN EDINBURGH 3 FOUNDATION.

72 enthusiastic and competitive golfers gathered at Camberley Heath Golf Club for the first Echo Sixty One Golf Day of 2025.

The day just wouldn’t have been possible without our headline sponsor; Spencer Scott Technology Recruitment, who also entered three teams for the day, each captained by one of our celebrity guests; Glenn Hoddle, David Howells and Jamie Weir. Thank you to Spencer and Sam for all your support for the day.

Golfers were encouraged to dig deep for the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation, and join in with six on course competitions. Once again, we would like to thank  competition sponsors; A Star Experience, M2M Direct, Kensington Balustrade Systems, Group 1 Autos BMW Farnborough, TaylorMade and Harris Heating, who all sponsored or supplied absolutely amazing prizes really worth competing for!

After 18 holes of brilliant competition golf, it was back to the club house to share stories of their rounds and sit down to a stunning three course meal.

The afternoon was hosted by none-other than Sky Sports Golf’s very own Jamie Weir, who added a hilarious brain taxing element to the usual game of heads and tails, as well as ensuring as much money as possible was squeezed out of the room in aid of The Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation in the live auction, which comprised of entirely donated items including; VIP Tickets for A League of Their Own, Golf with Harry Redknapp, Exclusive Visit to Heart Radio with Mark Wright and Olly Murs, four-balls at some of Britains most exclusive courses and a Signed Italia ’90 Paul Gascoigne Shirt.

Massive congratulations to all winners for the day:

James Nash winning Beat the Pro on hole 2
Charlie Edinburgh taking Nearest the Line on hole 3
Adam Lewis winning our second Nearest the Pin on hole 8
Lloyd Osagie who was Nearest the Pin in Two on hole 12
Gareth Richards who got to Nearest the Lake on hole 16
But unfortunately no one got a Hole in One on the 14th hole, so the BMW was driven back to Farnborough instead of home with one of the golfers!
The Individual Winner was Mark Wright – taking home the Echo Sixty One Claret Jug, as well as a bottle of Champagne.
And the hard fought Team Competition finished with Par-Tee Animals in third place with last years champions Latch Media taking second place on count back.
The Champions were M2M Direct; congratulations to Simona, Jack, Mark and Charlie on your win!
An amazing £7,085 was raised on the day for the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation! Thank you to each and every person who donated to help continue our vital work.
