CEO Charlie Edinburgh commented “I want to personally thank Michael Richardson and the entire team at M.R.F.A, they have supported JE3 since the very beginning. To be able to donate this potentially life-saving piece of equipment to them gives myself and the rest of the trustees a real sense of pride.”

In line with the commitment to sharing Justin’s story and increasing access to defibrillators, the Foundation invites organisations to apply to the defibrillator donation scheme.

The Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation has donated a life-saving defibrillator to Wormley Rovers Football Club.

The donation, made in Justin Edinburgh’s name, comes after the foundation discovered that the club had its existing defibrillator vandalized and stolen over the festive period.

The Automated External Defibrillator was presented by CEO, Charlie Edinburgh to Chairman Nigel Scully and Committee member Colin Vaughan.

JE3 Foundation CEO, Charlie Edinburgh said “This one really hit home. After having their exisiting defibrillator vandalized and stolen, we made quick contact with the club to see if we could assist in any way. If only the people responsible knew what a difference this piece of equipment can make. We urge people to continue supporting our work, whilst spreading the wider message surrounding the importance of Defibrillators.”

JE3 Rounds Out Week With Defibrillator Donations

Last week, Charlie Edinburgh, CEO of the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation, visited two London locations to donate defibrillators.

The first stop was Larkswood Primary Academy in Chingford, London. The Academy supports the welfare and development of 800 pupils aged 2-11. With community partnerships a priority for staff and pupils alike, Larkwood Primary was delighted to receive the donation, funded by Academy Services Waltham Forest, together with Kier Places.

Later that day, Charlie visited Fitzroy Lodge Amateur Boxing Club under the arches in Lambeth Road. Renowned for its welcoming and friendly environment, Fitzroy Lodge ABC is a charity run by volunteers and supported through subscription fees and donations.

The boxing club, established in 1908 and in its current location since 1946, was selected as a recipient through the JE3 defibrillator donation scheme, designed to increase community access to Automated External Defibrillators (AED).

Defibrillator Donations Mark Justin’s 51st Birthday

By Donations

The Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation has donated three Automated External Defibrillators to local facilities as part of the second annual JE3 Day.

Launched in 2019, the campaign was established to raise awareness of cardiac arrest while celebrating the life and legacy of Justin Edinburgh. While COVID-19 prevented the Foundation from hosting its annual JE3 Gala on what would have been Justin’s 51st birthday, we remain committed to increasing access to Automated External Defibrillators and campaigning for Justin’s Law.

Recipient organisations, each selected by the Board of Trustees, include Newport County AFC, Essex Community First Aid Events, and Marine AFC, joining the list of former recipients Billericay Town FC, Leyton Orient Supports Club, and Essentials (Billercay).

On site to make the donations, Charlie Edinburgh commented:

“This is another proud day for all involved with the Foundation. To see the continued hard work of everyone involved pay-off is the perfect tribute to Dad and marks JE3 Day perfectly. To know we are potentially saving lives with these donations fills me with an immense sense of pride and all three recipients are very worthy causes. This is the perfect way to continue Dad’s legacy.
With current COVID restrictions this was a fantastic way for JE3 to showcase its dedication and commitment to improving facilities with potential lifesaving equipment despite the challenges we face in the current climate. ”
