Leyton Orient rose to seventh in Sky Bet league One on Saturday by confidently overcoming Reading at Gaughan Group Stadium, which also saw the club mark JE3 Day.
In memory of the late, great, Justin Edinburgh, the O’s once again paid tribute to Justin with a dedicated fixture for the Foundation.
CEO of the foundation, penned a guest column in the programme for the fixture, as the O’s paid tribute to Justin pre-game, warming up wearing t-shirts displaying the logo of the JE3 Foundation.
CEO of the JE3 Foundation Charlie Edinburgh spoke on the importance of the fixture: “It means a lot that the club, and you, the supporters, continue to support and drive our imperative work, and days like today highlight the importance of the fantastic work being delivered by everyone at the foundation. If you haven’t yet learnt these potentially life-saving skills, then I encourage you to get in contact with the foundation to organize a workshop for your family, workplace, sports club. It really could save a life. I hope you enjoy what will be a special afternoon and keep my dad forever in your hearts, as this club was in his.”
All at the Foundation would like to thank everyone connected with the football club for marking this special occasion and for continuing to help raise awareness and continue Justin’s legacy.
