Today, the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation donated an Automated External Defibrillator to Albion Rovers Football Club in South Wales.
The donation, made in Justin Edinburgh’s name took place at the clubs Kimberley Park home in Newport, Wales the city in which Justin guided Newport County AFC back into the football league in 2013.
CEO Charlie Edinburgh was in attendance to make the official presentation this afternoon to club chairman Terry Wilkins, club secretary Sarah Yemm, Mike Edwards and members of the club’s Under 8’s and Under 15’s sides.
The afternoon was capped off as Charlie Edinburgh presented Rovers Under-15 girls coach, Jason Kelly with the very first ‘UK Junior Grassroots Football Hero Award’ after Kelly successfully resuscitated a member of the public suffering a sudden cardiac arrest earlier this year.
In line with the commitment to sharing Justin’s story and increasing access to defibrillators, the Foundation invites organisations to apply to the defibrillator donation scheme.
