Today, CEO of The Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation, Charlie Edinburgh joined ITV’s ‘This Morning’ to discuss ‘Justins Law’ and how he recently used CPR and a Defibrillator to save his friends life.
In 2019, 49-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur footballer Justin Edinburgh died after suffering from a cardiac arrest at a gym which didn’t have a defibrillator. His son Charlie is now an avid campaigner for the equipment, so when his friend John suddenly fell to the ground at a golf club earlier this month, Charlie accompanied by his friends Darren Sheen and Jamie Weir, knew exactly what to do. Having used CPR and the club’s defibrillator, it bought John vital time before a medical team arrived – saving John’s life. The pair joined Dermot O’leary and Rochelle Humes to tell their story alongside Dr Zoe who demonstrated how you to could save a life.
